Way of the Sword: Warrior Traditions in China and Italy (Now until 21 Feb)
Presented by Tai Kwun, the exhibition is a multi-dimensional presentation of China and Italy’s warrior and sword traditions from the Classical era through to the Early Modern age. The first mixed-media exhibition of its kind, it includes over 50 historic swords and polearms, over 20 sixteenth-century martial art manuscripts and books, as well as a range of historic objects related to the martial cultures in China and Italy.

Highlights of 2020 Policy Address
Supporting Business and Commerce Development and Small and Medium Enterprises
- The scope of the Small and Medium Enterprises Export Marketing Fund will be expanded for two years so that enterprises affected by the epidemic can fully utilise both online and offline sale channels
- The $1 billion Convention and Exhibition Industry Subsidy Scheme will subsidise exhibitors of exhibitions organised by the HKTDC and participants of its major conventions
- The GBA Youth Employment Scheme will be launched to subsidise enterprises operating business in both Hong Kong and the GBA Mainland cities to recruit and deploy local university graduates to work in the GBA Mainland cities with a quota of 2000
Support for the Creative Industries:
- $260 million will be earmarked under the Film Development Fund to implement various measures to address the needs of the industry at different levels, help retain talents and inject fresh impetus into the sector
- To inject an additional $1 billion into the CreateSmart Initiative to further promote the development of the creative industries in Hong Kong and provide support for them to adapt to the impact arising from the “new normal” under the epidemic
Development of Art and Culture:
- Set up an inter-bureau task force to promote and develop Art Tech, set aside $100 million and provide state-of-the-art venues and complementary facilities for experimental use
- Expedite the redevelopment or conversion of old industrial buildings in Wong Chuk Hang through the Government’s policy of revitalising industrial buildings, so as to provide more operating space for emerging industries and the arts and culture sector
- M+ museum of modern and contemporary visual arts and the Hong Kong Palace Museum showcasing invaluable Chinese artefacts in the West Kowloon Cultural District, are scheduled for completion and commissioning in the next two years. Together with the Hong Kong Museum of Arts which was reopened last year after expansion, the three museums will turn a new page in Hong Kong’s visual arts landscape

What the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Means for Business
The RCEP agreement was signed on 15 Nov 2020 by 15 member states – the 10 ASEAN countries, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. RCEP is said to be the world’s largest free trade agreement. Although Hong Kong is not one of the signatories of RCEP, Hong Kong companies producing in the region are set to benefit from the lower tariffs, simplified rules and procedures, and better market access.

The Grounds Opened as Hong Kong's First Entertainment Venue for the New Normal
The Grounds offers guests the chance to get out and play while maintaining a safe distance from others. As the first "socially distanced entertainment experience" designed for the COVID-19 era, the space is broken up into 100 private pods for two or four people at a time, making it an excellent option for a date or night out with a few close friends. Within the pods, guests can scan a QR code and order F&B options provided by Hong Kong restaurants.

HK Entered Full Digital TV Era
Hong Kong has entered an era of full digital TV broadcast on 1 December 2020. Spectrum vacated can be used for various purposes, including high value-added mobile telecommunications services, such as 5G, and to enhance network capacity and relieve congested data traffic at indoor mobile hotspots, such as MTR stations. The switch to full digital broadcast helps support Hong Kong's overall telecommunications services and smart city development.
