Muslim-Friendly Tourism Facilities Elevating Visitor Experiences on All Fronts 
Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) collaborates with
leading certification authorities to encourage various
trade partners in the tourism industry to strengthen
Muslim-friendly facilities and obtain ‘Halal-friendly’
certification. A total of 39 hotels has successfully applied
for and obtained certifications while four attractions and
MICE venues have also been rated. The number of
certified halal or halal-friendly restaurants also increased

Resumption and Expansion of
Multiple-entry Individual Visit
Scheme for Shenzhen
The Central Government resumed the multiple-entry
Individual Visit Scheme (IVS) for Shenzhen permanent residents and implemented a new arrangement to expand
the multiple-entry IVS to Shenzhen residence permit
holders. The resumption and expansion will increase the number of Shenzhen residents eligible for the multiple-entry
IVS to over 10 million, further adding new momentum to
Hong Kong's tourism, catering, retail, and other industries.

Pilot Programme Expands to
Tourism and Personal Services Industries
Cyberport announced the expansion of the Digital Transformation Support Pilot Programme (DTSPP)
to cover the tourism and personal services industries,
in addition to the food and beverage (F&B) and retail industries. The DTSPP will provide funding support
to local small and medium enterprises on a 1:1
matching basis, enabling them to adopt ready-to-use
digital solutions in three categories covering digital
payment solutions and shopfront sales, online
promotion, and customer management and loyalty
